Training outline:

Training is aimed at the salon or spa staff and management, the goal is to equip the attendant with theoretical and practical knowledge for the practice of hygiene and sanitation in the salon environment.

This includes,

• Contamination
• Personal hygiene
• Sanitation, disinfection and sterilisation
• Safe practice
• Basic Microbiology (Bacteria, Viruses and Fungi)

What the attendant will gain:

• Understanding the importance of maintaining salon safety, and the legal obligations of hygiene standards
• Understanding the how and the why of salon hygiene
• Step by step protocols to follow
• Sense of pride and responsibility in maintaining their workspace and personal hygiene
• Checklist and learning material

A certificate of attendance will be issued on completion of the two-day training

What the Salon/Spa will obtain:

• Assurance that professional standards are maintained.
• Compliance with Government Health and Safety regulations
• Personalised hygiene protocol including daily checklists

Training duration: two-day training, training days run consecutively.

Time: 9am – 2pm

Cost: R2000.00

Training includes a 30minute refreshment break, refreshments will be provided.
