By ordering from Lamica Beauty Supplies you agree that you have read, understood and are bound by the terms.

 

Lamica Beauty Supplies strictly supply to the Health and Skincare industry, to Qualified Beauty Therapists; Beauty Salons; Health Spas; Beauty Schools and Beauty therapy students.

 

These Terms and Conditions “the Terms and Conditions” govern your “the Client” use of the Lamica Beauty Supplies cc “The Company” website located at the domain name www.lamica.co.za “the Website”. By accessing and using the Website, the User agrees to be bound by the Terms and Conditions set out in this legal notice. The User may not access, display, use, download, and/or otherwise copy or distribute Content obtained on the website for marketing and other purposes without the consent of the Provider.

 

Electronic Communications
By using this Website or communicating with the Company by electronic means, the client consents and acknowledges that any and all agreements, notices, disclosures, or any other communication satisfies any legal requirement, including but not limited to the requirement that such communications should be in writing.

 

E-Commerce & Privacy
The Website www.lamica.co.za sells Beauty Salon/Spa and Beauty School supplies online. Lamica Beauty Supplies strictly supply to the Health and Skincare industry, to Qualified Beauty Therapists; Beauty Salons; Health Spas; Beauty Schools and Beauty therapy students. The use of any product bought from this Website is at the purchaser’s risk. The purchaser/client indemnifies and holds the Company harmless against any loss, injury or damages which may be sustained as a result of using the products sold on the Website.

 

The private information required for executing the orders placed through the e-commerce facility, namely the Clients personal information and credit card details, delivery address and telephone numbers will be kept in the strictest confidence by the Client and not sold or made known to third parties. Only the necessary information, that is the delivery address and contact phone number will be made known to third parties delivering the product.

 

The Company undertakes that it has taken all reasonable precautions to secure the credit card processing that is carried out to receive payment for goods sold. The Company cannot be held responsible for security breaches occurring on the Client’s electronic device (Personal Computer or other electronic device used to browse the Website), which may result due to the lack of adequate virus protection software or spyware that the Client may inadvertently have installed on his/her device.

 

Delivery policy
How long will my order take to arrive?

 

Subject to stock availability with suppliers and receipt of payment the company has a 48 hour turnaround time on deliveries from the time that payment has been received, no deliveries will take place on Saturday’s, Sunday’s and Public Holidays. Delivery turnaround time may exceed 48 hours for areas beyond our standard delivery route. For areas not serviced by standard couriers The Company will deliver via Post Office, or to the nearest town to the Client that is accessible. In these circumstances the Company will be in contact with the Client to arrange an alternative address.
Is there a delivery charge?

 

All deliveries within the Cape Town Southern Suburbs; Northern Suburbs and CBD will incur a R40.00 delivery charge. Outside of these areas, additional delivery charges will be incurred. The client must consult with the company to find out if the delivery point falls outside of the standard delivery routes, the full delivery charge will be for the clients account.

 

The Company will supply all goods to the delivery company in good order and will ensure that goods arrive at the Client’s chosen delivery address in the same good order.

 

Minimum 24 hours notice of cancellation required. Notification for instance, in person, via email, mobile phone and/or ‘text message’, or any other means will be accepted subject to confirmation in writing.

 

Cancelled orders on the e-commerce facility will be refunded after deduction of a 10% charge for administration costs. The Company reserves the right to cancel an order for which payment has already been received. This may occur if stock is insufficient or the quality of goods ordered does not meet the

 

Company’s standards or the clients is not a Qualified Beauty Therapist; Beauty Salon; Health Spa; Beauty School or Beauty therapy student. Should the Company exercise this right, the Client will receive a full refund with no deductions.

Returns / Refund Policy
Please report any damages and/or shortages of goods within 48 hours of receipt of order and we will gladly collect it at our expense and either replace or repair the item, depending on the circumstance. Lamica Beauty Supplies will require a picture of the damaged goods and/or items received.

 

Due to the nature of the products we offer, items purchased are non-refundable unless it is faulty or damaged during shipping, this is due to health, safety and hygiene purposes.

 

Although seldom charged, we reserve the right to charge a 10% administration fee for returned orders should the returns process incur significant administration expenses.

 

Returns and Refunds – Equipment and Heaters
All heaters are guaranteed for six months, should your unit be faulty, please return your heater within 6 months from date of purchase to our head office. On receipt our technical department will assess your claim and should the unit be found faulty within our terms and conditions listed below we will replace and dispatch your product free of charge.

 

Payment Options
What are my payment options?
We accept payment via credit card, or bank transfers, the details of which will be provided after checkout. Proof of payment sent through BEFORE orders are dispatched

 

C.O.D. Payments are by request, as orders are delivered via an external delivery company. The Company may refuse the C.O.D payment option at The Company’s discretion and request an EFT or Card payment.

 

Credit card acquiring and security
Credit card transactions will be acquired for the Company via approved payment gateways.
Customer details will be stored by the Company separately from card details.

 

Transaction currency
Transaction Currency is South African Rand (ZAR).

 

Responsibility
The Company takes responsibility for all aspects relating to the transaction including sale of goods and services sold on this website, customer service and support, dispute resolution and delivery of goods.

 

Updating of these Terms and Conditions
The Company reserves the right to change, modify, add to or remove from portions or the whole of these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Changes to these Terms and Conditions will become effective upon such changes being posted to this Website. It is the Client’s obligation to periodically check these Terms and Conditions at the Website for changes or updates. The Client’s continued use of this Website following the posting of changes or updates will be considered notice of the Client’s acceptance to abide by and be bound by these Terms and Conditions, including such changes or updates.

The Company reserve the right to make any changes to the Website, the Content, or to products and/or services offered through the Website at any times and without notice.

The Company is committed to protecting the client’s privacy. Authorized employees within the company on a need to know basis only use any information collected from individual customers. We constantly review our systems and data to ensure the best possible service to our customers. The Client may visit the Website without providing any personal information. The Website servers will in such instances collect the IP address of the Client computer, but not the email address or any other distinguishing information. This information is aggregated to measure the number of visits, average time spent at the Website, pages viewed, etc. The Company uses this information to determine use of the Website, and to improve content thereon.

If any of the provisions of these Terms and Conditions are found by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision shall be enforced to the maximum extent permissible so as to give effect to the intent of these Terms and Conditions, and the remainder of these Terms and Conditions shall continue in full force and effect. These Terms and Conditions constitute the entire agreement between the Company and the Client with regard to the use of the Content and this Website.
